Virginie is a registered dietitian and a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of nutrition at the University of Montreal. Her research interests revolve around the commercial determinants of health, with a specific focus on corporate political activity (CPA) surrounding professional practices in nutrition. Her interests extends to creating healthier and more sustainable food environments to foster one health.

For her doctoral thesis, she delves into the multifaceted influence of the CPA of the food industry on nutrition professionals in Quebec. Moreover, she will develop in 2024 a training program aimed at raising awarness among nutrition professionals about this critical issue.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Virginie is also an active member of the ODNQ and have been working as a clinical dietitian for the last four years. Finaly, she is a lecturer and a teacher assistant within the Department of nutrition.
