They say we are what we eat and we eat what we are. In short, the links between culture and food are fundamental.

Within this research axis, on look for to to study and understand the eating behaviors of individuals, communities and corporations within society. We are interested in the values and principles underlying the eating behaviors of newcomers and members of ethnocultural communities.
We also wonder about the behavior of food corporations and their effects on the behavior of individuals, professionals and society. Indeed, corporate political activities can undermine and slow down public health efforts and policies aimed at transforming human environments and behaviors.
