Spatial influence on qualitative food consumption in Colombia

goal

Analyze the qualitative food consumption of representative population samples of Colombia’s capital city, some municipalities and villages with different population sizes and geographic locations (rural and urban in Cundinamarca) in order to analyze if there are differences in qualitative food consumption in these areas, taking into account different income levels.

Results

Processed and ultra-processed foods are consumed more in cities and urban areas than in smaller and rural populations. There are differences in consumption generated by incomes.
