Virginie is a nutritionist and doctoral student in the nutrition department of the Université de Montréal. Her research interests focus on the business determinants of health, specifically corporate political activity (CPA) surrounding professional practice in nutrition, as well as the creation of healthy and sustainable food environments to foster one health. (planetary and human). 

​

For her doctoral thesis, she will focus on the APC of the industry and professional practice in nutrition in Quebec as well as on the development of training aimed at forging the critical spirit of dietitians/nutritionists regarding this issue. In this project, Virginie will count on partners to ensure her success, among others, the Professional Order of Dietitians of Quebec (OPDQ), nutritionists in the field and the Nutrition Department of the University of Montreal of the Faculty of Medicine. .

Virginie is also a member of the OPDQ and a part-time clinical nutritionist in private practice. She helps a diverse clientele improve their relationship with food and make optimal food choices based on their health condition. She is also a research and teaching assistant in the nutrition department of the Université de Montréal.
